PURPOSE

The purpose of the ab-hi parent support group is to strengthen the first line of defense against cultures that threaten the well-being of our children. Each supporter should find purpose in supporting our children’s endeavors to recognize bullying behaviors, acknowledge that he/she has been bullied, seek help, access resources available, and recover from trauma.

MISSION

To open doors for those that come after us so that they don’t even need keys.

ADVANTAGES

There is an overwhelming need for parental support. Counselors, peers, and mentors are a valuable asset, but parental support extends beyond the four walls of schools and carries a weight that is reinforced in the relationship of the student and parent/guardian. AB-HI presents the opportunity for parents/guardians to support, build, and be part of the foundational resistance to bullying.
